For Jeremy's birthday we went to a wildlife refuge to spend the day after the soccer and football games. We have a great day petting the animals and riding the train. The weather was perfect and we had the best day. It was a perfect way to help celebrate Jeremy's birthday. We are so grateful for having such a hardworking dad in our family.

Feb Pack Meeting

Cade recived his Webelos Badge and Davis recived his Religious Knot. Both boys have been working hard in scouts and we are very proud of them. Easton can't wait until he is 8 and can join them. (Mostly because he wants his pocketknife!)

U of U hat

Over Spring Break I took the boys to the Science Museum in Dallas. Davis really wanted to wear a ball cap and called Jeremy to ask if he could wear his U of U one. Jeremy told him he could as long as he took good care of it. Davis promised and off we went. We drove down to the museum (about 1/2 hour away) and Davis took his hat off because he was getting a little hot. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot I hear, "Davis just threw up!" Yes, he had got sick and threw up all over the hat he was holding. After that he was fine for the rest of the day. When we got home and told Jeremy what happened he decided Davis could have the hat and he would get another one. So now Davis is the proud owner of a U of U hat!

Tooth Extraction

Easton had a loose tooth that he wanted removed so I called in the big guns.
We tied one end of the floss to his tooth and the other end to the car.

I tried this once before with Cade but we could never get the string to stay on his tooth. We were foiled again this time when Easton turned his head to take a picture and forgot to give the string a little more slack.

The tooth popped out before I could even start the car. There's always next time.

Foster update-2011

Foster loves to sweep the floor
He loved to climb in cabinets and drawers
Foster all dressed up for Church
Playing in the playroom
Making his own obstacle course
His favorite thing to do- climb on anything!
He loves to escape out the front door
His come and get me look
He is always a happy boy
Just a quick update on Foster. He is almost 17 months. He is by far the tallest any of our boys have been at this age (90%). He loves to be with his brothers and play. His favorite activities are climbing on anything and running. You can NOT take your eyes off this child for one minute or he will be into something or on top of something. He still follows Fantom around although now he is finally taller than the dog and a little softer with him. He loves water and will climb in the bath tub if he even gets close to it. He loves riding the plastic roller coaster in the back yard and being outside in general. Lately he has been running to the sidewalk to wave at people as they pass by. He is the first of our boys to not be shy. At Church he spends his time trying to run away from us and running up to the stand. He made it up there last week during third hour. The boys enjoy him more and more each day. They love watching him learn new things and we all love to his his little giggle. Foster Graham Holdstock sure has brought so much joy to our lives in the past 17 months. I hope it continues as we enter the phase that has generally been the terrible terrible twos.
