Foster finally turned one on Sept 19th. This year has truly gone by faster than any other. It is a bitter sweet moment for us. We do enjoy our older boys and their independence and long for the day we can lose the diaper bag and strollers, etc, BUT at the same time we know that Foster is no longer a baby and it it really sad. Why does it have to go so fast? Here are a few fun facts about Foster:
He is the happiest baby. Even when he is sick he always smiles and enjoys life. He really only cries when he is hungry and even then it is not bad.
He LOVES his brothers and enjoys the constant chaos the surrounds him.
He follows the dog around all day and copies him. As shown in one of the pictures above, Foster looks out the windows and doors just as he sees Fantom do when people come over.
Foster has a go with the flow attitude. He can sit in his stroller or car sea all day and not complain even though as soon as he gets out, he crawls around so happy to be free, he never complains.
He has become quite the little walker lately.
He loves music - all kinds.
He is adored by his brothers. Davis gets him out of his crib most mornings and they fight over him. He has brought so much love and joy into our family.
He is a climber. He loves to chew on stuff (not even the dog does that!). Everything (except food) goes in his mouth.
He does not like to cuddle. He wants to be down exploring.
We could not be happier that he came into our family. We look forward to getting to know him better as he grows. He teaches us all about service and love. I can't believe he is one and hope to remember this moment in time for years to come.
