Easton was allowed to go to scouts two days early because we were having a Rain gutter Regatta and there had not been one for 6 years. He was so excited as Bud and Granny took him to the scout shop to buy his uniform like they have with all the boys. I think Bud's favorite part of coming out for the baptisms is that he gets to attend the very first scout meeting with each boy. Easton especially was excited to have Bud with him. He was a little nervous for the race, but it was all in vain because apparently the Holdstocks are filled with a lot of hot air. Easton cam in second overall missing the championship by just a tenth of a second! It was extremely close. Davis put in a good performance as well making it to the semi-finals. Easton could not believe that this was his first meeting and he almost won! The best part was listening to all of the boys in Easton's new den cheer for him as he raced each time. Easton is so excited to be eight and be able to finally go to scouts and enjoy all the fun things he has seen his brothers do over the past three years. I hope he continues to have such fun.
