Twilight Camp

This is Cade right before he left for twilight camp on Monday. He has had a great time and done many exciting things. This has been hard on me though. He is gone from about 3:30pm until 9:30pm. First having Easton gone for three weeks and now Cade being gone so long at night, I am having a hard time this summer! Why do they have to grow up so fast?

The True Church

While Easton is in Arizona, my parents are taking him to an LDS Church every week. Today it was my mom's turn. Easton and Granny got to Church early to pick their seats and while they were waiting for Church to start, Easton starting explaining about our Church. He told Granny that his Church was the only true church and that other churches had good things but not all the good things. He looked around and then told her the church they were at (in AZ) was ok, but not the TRUE church like his one in TEXAS!!

It has been very hard not having Easton around the past week and a half. We are getting exited to go to Arizona and be with him soon. Easton is having a great time with Granny and Bud and sent us some pictures of his adventures. I wonder if we will be able to get him to come home at the end of the summer!

When we went to parent night at school each of the boys had to create a paper and the parents had to guess which child was theirs. Here is one of ours. Guess which one it is.

And He's Off...

Easton has left for Arizona to spend a few weeks with Granny and Bud before the other boys get out of school. For over a month we had been planning this trip and Easton was so excited, I thought he would burst! My dad drove out to get him and the two of them had a fun adventure on the way back to Arizona. Easton has been gone a week now and although we miss him terribly, he is having the time of his life! Life has been strange around here with only two kids. You wouldn't think it make that much of a difference but it does! When Cade and Davis are finished with school, we will go and meet Easton in Arizona and spend most of the summer there. Until then, easton is enjoying the attention of Granny and Bud all to himself!

Art Show

Every year there is a district wide art show and several students from each grade are chosen to display their work. Cade had a picture in the show when he was in kindergarten and again this year. Here is a picture of his work. We are so proud of him!
