Tooth Extraction

Easton had a loose tooth that he wanted removed so I called in the big guns.
We tied one end of the floss to his tooth and the other end to the car.

I tried this once before with Cade but we could never get the string to stay on his tooth. We were foiled again this time when Easton turned his head to take a picture and forgot to give the string a little more slack.

The tooth popped out before I could even start the car. There's always next time.

Foster update-2011

Foster loves to sweep the floor
He loved to climb in cabinets and drawers
Foster all dressed up for Church
Playing in the playroom
Making his own obstacle course
His favorite thing to do- climb on anything!
He loves to escape out the front door
His come and get me look
He is always a happy boy
Just a quick update on Foster. He is almost 17 months. He is by far the tallest any of our boys have been at this age (90%). He loves to be with his brothers and play. His favorite activities are climbing on anything and running. You can NOT take your eyes off this child for one minute or he will be into something or on top of something. He still follows Fantom around although now he is finally taller than the dog and a little softer with him. He loves water and will climb in the bath tub if he even gets close to it. He loves riding the plastic roller coaster in the back yard and being outside in general. Lately he has been running to the sidewalk to wave at people as they pass by. He is the first of our boys to not be shy. At Church he spends his time trying to run away from us and running up to the stand. He made it up there last week during third hour. The boys enjoy him more and more each day. They love watching him learn new things and we all love to his his little giggle. Foster Graham Holdstock sure has brought so much joy to our lives in the past 17 months. I hope it continues as we enter the phase that has generally been the terrible terrible twos.

The pictures are fromt he realtor from the listing, so the furniture is not ours. Right now the house is covered in boxes so I got these pictures from the agent. This is our new home that we found, bought, and moved into in 15 days. We are actually so happy with it even though we bought it based on the fact that the people could move out faster than the other people at the other house we were going to buy. The boys have so many boys on our street and the street over to play with. They will stay at the same school for the rest of the year AND we have a neighbrohood pool for this summer. I have to blog about the adventure we took to get to this house another time since it is quite a long story, but the reason for the lack of blog post the past few months have been due to this move. We are now settled and very happy. We have the same phone number we have had for years so if you need to call us you can! Email me or leave a comment if you need our new address.

End of the Season

If you look close you can see Cade's goalCade made the first two goals of the game
The last few soccer games for Cade have been at 8am, so I was not at all sad when the season was done. Cade finished up the season strong and we are so proud of him. Cade joined a new team this year and we weren't sure how things would go. The team really learned how to play well together and had a great season. I can't wait for Easton and Davis to be done as well. It will be nice to have our evenings back and Saturdays free.

Trick or Treat

This year our ward did trunk or treating on Saturday. We also had a costume party earlier that day so the boys got to dress up most of the day. They really enjoyed every minute of it. I am so glad Cade still enjoys it. He had asked me if he could stay home and pass out candy because he thought he might be too old this year. I think he still has a few more years in him!! He came up with his costume idea all on his own. He thought that a failing report card would be the scariest thing ever! I hope he always feels this way!!
Cade, Davis, and Easton
Jeremy, Foster, Davis, Cade, and Easton
Jeremy wanted to give Cade an A in PE to make it look like he was a "jock" but Cade wanted straight F's
Easton LOVED being an Army guy. Al year he kept talking about it and wondering what kind of gun he should carry.
Davis is really into football this year. He plays on a flag football team. He is a huge Cowboys fan so this was an exciting night for him.
They all had so much fun. We got way too much candy. The boys are out of school today (Monday) for teacher/parent conferences and report cards (I wonder where Cade got his idea?) so maybe tomorrow we can get rid of some of the candy that now fills this house.

I guess the realtor really liked this wall because she took two pictures of it!

As many of you may or may not know, we are in the process of selling our home. This is one of the worst things to ever do with four little boys and a dog! More details later...
