The drive up Valley Creek by the golf course
It started snowing on Thursday so I took the boys out of school early so they could come home and enjoy the snow. This was on Thursday Feb 11th around 12:30pm. The snow continued all throught the night and most of the next day. School was canceled on Friday and Jeremy also stayed home so we were able to enoy another snow day. All together we had a record breaking of up to 11 inches from Thurs to Friday!!
It is always a race to be the first to go down the slide when we have snow! The thing we love most about Texas is that even after all that snow, on Saturday, most of it was melted and gone. The following week was nice and warm again. It is nice to be able to enjoy the snow for the kids but not have to be trapped by it all winter and especially not have to shovel it!

How fun to have a variety in your weather. I'm sure the boys were in heaven. That is how I feel about Florida weather. It is so nice to have to warm and mild in the winter here but you have to pay for it sometime......summer in Florida are not pleasant days!
